The HBA staff gathers residential building permit information.  Much information is dependent upon the building permit forms that are compiled by the many permit issuing cities and counties.  Due to non-standard forms and reporting requirements among these various local governments, 100% accuracy is nearly impossible to assure. The reports represent new construction figures from St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Franklin County, Lincoln County, Warren County and the City of St. Louis.

Note: All single family attached homes are classified as single family homes, not multifamily.
